Cherwell was established in 2014 with a drive to deliver exceptional quality furniture and to do it better. The founding partners decided to reimagine each process, of both the craft and the business to produce beautiful furniture on time, and on budget thereby building a completely trustworthy brand, Cherwell. Our ability to deliver on our promises and our happy clients’ led us to expand our services to include full renovation and project management services enabling us to take care of every element of a scheme using our own expert team.

Cherwell are bespoke interiors specialists based in Dubai. We create unique spaces for both residential and commercial clients, blending our British heritage with innovative design and manufacturing processes and a restless desire to do it better.  Seeking out new materials, new techniques and constantly striving for excellence in quality and delivery, we are driven by our maxim of ‘Cherished Craftsmanship’.  Providing either a complete turn-key solution including design, manufacture and install services for clients, or collaborating with designers outside our organization we seek to deliver an exceptional service and enjoy the process.

Cherwell make bespoke furniture for every room of the home or office, but we are renowned for our beautiful kitchens, dressing rooms, and specialist joinery. Our Dubai showrooms enable clients to see how flexible and unique our approach is. Driven by design but shaped by a full understanding of our clients’ needs aesthetically, functionally and financially.

A visit to our showrooms also allows a tour of our purpose built factory to see how we combine traditional craftsmanship with cutting-edge technology and offer an almost unlimited choice of materials, colours, fittings and styles, not just for furniture but for all refurbishment requirements, from sanitaryware, tiling, flooring, decoration, lighting and soft furnishings.



The factory is also home to our design and management teams and the manufacturing divisions and specialisms. These specialisms include joinery and cabinetry, veneer works, paint and finishing, bespoke metalwork, stone and glass cutting and polishing and soft furnishings. The possibilities are limitless, but the one thing they all have in common is our passion for precision, quality and craftsmanship in planning, manufacturing and site works.

We distinguish ourselves by also offering the full range of support services for projects, including approval drawings, approval applications to authorities, schematic drawings for electrical and plumbing works, and full project management services where required.

The Brief

During the initial brief stage we take the time to learn about how the client wishes to use the property, their personal style, and lifestyle. We build a picture of the project through a site visit or floor plans and photographs as well as ensuring that we understand all factors such as time scale, budget, and any structural requirements.


After taking the detailed brief we will present the concept designs, consisting of floor plans and elevations illustrating the proposed furniture layouts and any structural changes that may be required. We also present mood board presentations containing samples of all the proposed fabrics and finishes as well as imagery of suggested furniture and joinery concepts.

Final Details

Having approved all of the concept designs we progress to the design development and detail design stage. All final bespoke furniture, joinery and interior architecture drawings will be presented, along with all final finishes artwork and accessories for clients to approve. At this stage we will also present a fully itemised breakdown of costs.
